Privacy policy

1. Who we are

DayErly is a daily routine and productivity app operated by [DayErly]. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what control you have over it.

It applies to the DayErly mobile app and this website.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email address those services provide. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we receive the relay address rather than your real one.

We do not store your password. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

Content you create

The app stores what you put into it so it can sync across your devices:

  • Routines and their activities, times and schedules
  • Goals, milestones and notes
  • Tasks, due dates and reminders
  • Completion history, streaks and achievements
  • App preferences

This content is yours. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.

Device and usage information

To keep the app working and diagnose problems, we may collect device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone and a device identifier.

Time zone matters more than it sounds: reminders are scheduled against it, so we need it to fire notifications at the right moment.

What we do not collect

DayErly does not collect your contacts, photos, precise location or health data.

Voice capture uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Audio is processed by the operating system, and DayErly receives only the resulting text — which is then handled like anything else you type.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the app and sync your data across your devices
  • To send the reminders and notifications you set up
  • To keep your account secure
  • To diagnose crashes and fix problems
  • To understand which features are used, so we know what to improve
  • To provide support when you contact us

4. Third-party services

DayErly uses some following services. Each is listed with what it actually does in the app.

  • Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in methods
  • Google AdMob — advertising in the free version
  • Some more

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We only share what each one needs to do its job.

5. Advertising

The free plan of DayErly may show ads supplied by Google AdMob. It also offers optional rewarded videos, which are ads you choose to watch in return for an extra task, routine, goal or streak freeze. A premium subscription removes ads, and the ad SDK is not started at all for premium users.

Where required by law, you'll be shown a consent form before any ads load, and on iOS you'll be asked separately whether the app may track you for advertising. Declining either is fine — every feature of the app works the same way. Where a consent form applies to you, you can reopen it at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Ad Privacy Choices.

Your routines, goals and tasks are never shared with advertisers.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details.

RevenueCat records whether your subscription is active so the app knows what to unlock. This is tied to your account identifier, not to your name or payment details.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account exists. Diagnostic and crash data is kept for a limited period and then discarded.

Some records may be retained where the law requires it — transaction records for tax purposes, for example.

8. Deleting your data

You can delete your account and its data from inside the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. This is permanent.

Full details are on the account & data deletion page. If you want a copy of your data before deleting it, email us and we'll help.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored using our providers' security controls. Access to production systems is limited to those who need it.

No system is completely secure, and we won't claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you as required by law.

10. Children's privacy

DayErly is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows the last revision, and material changes will be signalled in the app.
